So many thanks to New York State Education Department Teacher Leaders Judy Bowers and Michelle Monsour of the Educational Opportunity Centers and Roxanne McNeil Moody of the NYC Department of Education for creating these teacher resources. Included are seven pro/con text sets with teacher-created multiple choice questions that closely mimic actual test questions. The addition of these practice questions means that teachers can use the text sets for reading comprehension, critical thinking, and test practice, as well as source texts for persuasive essay practice.
