An introduction to some of the fundamental building blocks of geometry – lines and angles. Topics include complementary and supplementary angles, measuring angles, numberless protractors, using standard protractors, and special angle relationships.
Please note, angles are not assessed on the GED. They do appear on the TABE.
NOTE: These materials were originally available in the NYSED/CUNY Fast Track GRASP Math Packet titled: Lines, Angles & Shapes: Measuring Our Word, which has been retired.
Other materials from that packet have been reorganized and expanded and can be found in the NYSED/CUNY Fast Track GRASP Math Packet titled: Two-Dimensional Geometry, which is better aligned to the HSE exam.
